Modern Rap Music Is Programming The Degeneration of the Black Nation

Mos Def once said that Hip-Hop or Rap music reflects the state of mind the people are in, what does Hip-Hop/Rap say about us now?

The real question should be, are these artists expressing the real conditions of their environment or are they creating a false reality based on what is in demand?

It seems like every new song that gains notoriety in the Hip-Hop world is a melodic manifestation of absolute destruction.

I’m aware there are many artists in the Hip-Hop/Rap genre that DO speak life, love and revolution. My point is they are severely outnumbered by the artists spreading death and self destruction.

Typically, the prerequisite for a ‘poppin’ song nowadays is:

  • someone (probably black) must be murdered for the slightest confrontation.
  • someone (probably black) must have sex with someone else’s (probably black) significant other.
  • someone (probably black) must steal someone’s (probably black) money or property.
  • someone (probably black) must avoid any healthy or constructive method of gaining a livable income.
  • someone (probably black) must be completely intoxicated at all times and under no circumstances is sobriety acceptable or favorable.

Who decided this was the best kind of music black people should be making and promoting? I’ll tell you who, the system of white supremacy.

That system creates an environment that encourages the youth to create self-destructive music by offering lucrative opportunities to those who follow the program. We are literally being massively rewarded for broadcasting words and imagery that promote the genocide of the black nation. We are being paid to destroy our own minds.

Making positive, powerful, enlightening, revolutionary music for the black community (particularly) in America is not a profitable venture.

The powers that be must have realized that the music of previous generations, that promoted self-love and cultural integrity, was dangerous for the system of white supremacy which aims to dominate all people of known the universe in all areas of people activity. It is a lot harder to dominate a people that value themselves and are equipped with an ingrained obligation to the betterment of their community.

So in order for the system of white supremacy to continue it’s campaign for world domination it became absolutely necessary to ruin the “black is beautiful” self image we had as a collective and replace it with a destructive desire to be “niggas” and “bitches”.

We fell for the scam following the trend (which they control) and the money (which they control).

We have to regain control of our culture, our people and our minds. At some point we have to choose the future of our nation over the white man’s money.

So what if record labels are paying top dollar for black artists to spew destructive non-sense. So what if videos promoting black on black crime, drug usage, and the complete degradation of the black woman are what goes viral. So what if you won’t get invited to clubs anymore because you speak life and instead of death.

It all comes down to a simple question…

Are you willing to participate in the genocide of Black America by helping destroy the moral fabric of an already brutalized and recovering nation for a few inflated dollars, simultaneously becoming an active participant of the system of white supremacy?

We have the power to change it all, if we can resist the temptation to sellout our nation.

Bring back self love.

Bring back knowledge.

Bring back the revolution.

  1. I have enjoyed reading your post. Now, write another one discussing solutions. There are alternatives to hip hop music. There is art, dance, acting, culinary arts, STEM, and world music. There’s a need for a positive distraction. Learning liberal arts and or church led youth groups that encourages the youth to take God seriously and not let rap or hip hop dictate their morals. Start there and do a follow-up article.

    1. Thank you for reading. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I hope I expressed clearly that “rapping” in general is not the problem but the content and it’s affects on the conscious/unconscious collective is. I said we should go back to music that expresses “life, love, and revolution” whether it be rap otherwise. However, your suggestion of writing about constructive solutions is not a bad idea at all. I will meditate on that and see what I can come up with. Thanks again for reading and your suggestion.

  2. So are you saying that rappers are white supremacists? Are you saying the people who buy and listen to rap music are white supremacists? Of course not. You’re blaming the evil white man for the problems in the black community. While it might be comforting to blame the evil white man for all of your problems, you’re forgetting that if someone else is in control of your problems, someone else is in control of your solutions. That means that no matter what, you’re not going to be able to do anything to improve your situation. You are just powerless victims of the evil white man. I mean, according to your blog, black people can’t even choose what kind of music THEY make and what kind of music THEY listen to. Is this really what you wanted to say? instead of attacking me, why don’t you take a minute and reflect on the point that I’ve tried to make. No white person can make rappers create the music they do. No white person can make black people listen to the music they choose to listen to. there is actually something wonderful and empowering about admitting that you are engaging in self-destructive behavior. Because if it’s your behavior, you can choose to stop doing it. If someone else is doing it to you, you are powerless. Good luck to you and thanks for trying to make a difference.

    1. I’m assuming you are a white man. So let me help you understand. 1: I expressed that any rapper that is encouraging the death and destruction of the black community is willingly or unwillingly a participant in the furthering of the system of white supremacy. So in yes a way those rappers who do that would be a white supremacist, verbally (maybe even litterally) killing black people while filling the pockets of white people. 2: I did put the blame on those black people who do that as well as the white supremacists who encourage it. How do white supremacists encourage it? They own all of the major record labels that literally pay millions of dollars to young black men for putting destructive music in the black community. They own all of the airwaves that decide what music to play and what not to play. They own the social media platforms that pay these artists for their millions of views. Of course white people don’t MAKE anyone do anything, but they control all of the doors and hold all the keys so that gives white people the ability to ENCOURAGE these rappers to talk about specific things, that is if they want exposure and money. 3: you obviously have no idea how the system of white supremacy operates. Whether or not you think you are an “evil white man” there is a global SYSTEM of white supremacy that aims to dominate all peoples of the universe. Your probably a poor or middle class white man that has no “real” power, the white supremacists at the top of the chain do not care about you either. They look at you like one of us, expendable. Notice I keep saying “white supremacists” and not just white people because Im hoping you can understand. I suggested that black people STOP being ENCOURAGED by those white supremacists offering large sums of money to destroy their community and TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR OWN SELF DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR and speak love, life and revolution once again. Thank you for reading. Have a nice day.
