His locs are probably pretty clean already seeing how he doesn’t use wax and gels in his locs. Nonetheless you’re definitely going to want to see what happens.
Zayloc23 gets ready for his rinse with all the necessary supplies: measuring cup, lime, lemon, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and baking soda. The water he uses for the rinse is warm or as he puts it, “as hot as you can stand it”. His reasoning is it should help loosen any unwanted things in his locs, more then cold water would.
Did you see the results? That should tell you the importance of these rinses. He doesn’t even use unnatural products in his hair and there was still a lot that came out of his locs into the rinse water.
So if you are someone who uses unnatural products in your hair, especially on a regular basis, then you are definitely going to want to do a serious apple cider vinegar rinse. Also, if you are doing a rinse like this, make sure you shampoo your locs when you are finished. That apple cider vinegar is NOT a leave in conditioner. You use it to clean then wash all of it out when you are finished.
