Let’s be real, the only people who are mad that this shoe did not get released per Colin Kaepernick’s reccomendation are conservative white people.
White America is furious they can’t celebrate celebrate this 4th of July with a ‘patriotic’ shoe that represents when ‘America was great’ – for them anyway.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Colin Kaepernick got wind of this “Betsy Ross” shoe being set for release and let Nike know immediately that this was a horrible idea.
“Nike Inc. is yanking a U.S.A.-themed sneaker featuring an early American flag after NFL star-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick told the company it shouldn’t sell a shoe with a symbol that he and others consider offensive, according to people familiar with the matter.”

Personally, I’m glad he stepped up. Somehow these upset white people seem to think that because they are proud of the genocidal, murderous, greedy, violent, and ravenous history of their forefathers doesn’t mean the rest of us are down to celebrate with them.
Some of these pissed off Caucasian conservatives have expressed their disgust with Nike’s decision and how they will withdrawal their support. Well I hate to break the news to them but Nike does not need their support anymore, they seem to be doing just fine without bending to the whining of every racist conservative who threatens to withdrawal financial aid.
