Keke Palmer Offers Teen With Locs Who Was Denied Six Flags Job A Modeling Gig

17-year-old, Kerion Washington, was denied a job at Six Flags because of his dreadlocks. Well it looks like he’s coming out on top of this one.

He recently appeared on “Strahan and Sara” and talked to guest co-hosts Keke Palmer and Romeo about his terrible experience with the amusement park.

“It was one of my first jobs, so it was sad,” Washington said. “They pulled me out on the side in the hallway—it was embarrassing … they told me they can’t allow dreads.”

He goes on to say, “We was both disappointed. We never expected this to happen. It’s just hair.”

In a generous gesture, Palmer and Romeo offered Washington his first paid modeling gig during their “Good Morning America” segment.

“We know you had dreams of modeling, so today, when we do our fashion segment, we’re going to give you your first paid modeling gig,” Palmer said.
