Universal has decided to cancel the release of their new movie ‘The Hunt’ due to the recent mass shootings in El Paso and Ohio.

On the film’s website Universal posted this statement, “While Universal Pictures had already paused the marketing campaign for ‘The Hunt,’ after thoughtful consideration, the studio has decided to cancel our plans to release the film.“
Let’s be honest here, it seems more likely that Universal is not releasing the movie because less people would be willing to see it at this time rather then them employing “thoughtful consideration”. It’s about the money, not the people.
Not only that, but Trump made statements implying that “Hollywood is racist” and “What they’re doing, with the kind of movies they’re putting out — it’s actually very dangerous for our country.” Now we know he really doesn’t give a sh*t, but him making statements like that can ruin a film premiere.

Apparently he did not call out the movie directly, but he made mention of “The movie coming out” in his recent tweets. Nonetheless, whether the tweets are related or not is not the point.
The point, there has been MANY mass shootings over the past years. This is including the 400+ years of violent campaigns against melanated people in America and around the world. This hasn’t stopped Hollywood from releasing psychopathic thrillers promoting mass murder not one time.
The directors of this film know this, so it is no accident that they make a movie called ‘The Hunt’ about white people killing citizens for sport.
This has been the American way for sometime, so I don’t see the point in cancelling the film now.
Everyday white people are on ‘The Hunt’ for citizens, especially black ones. They’ll probably wait a couple months until people forget about the recent mass shootings, then release the movie.
Don’t worry, ‘The Hunt’ to make America great again will be back on track in no time, America’s genocidal tendencies always show up like clockwork.
