Although it seems hopeless at times, we can’t give up the fight.

I’m assuming if you are a black or melanated person reading this that you already know the daily troubles we deal with.
Everything from institutional racism, unemployment, police brutality, black on black crime, and mental illness make it easy for us to fall into a state of hopelessness. The thing is, we can’t quit even though it’s hard.
What if our ancestors, the ones we idolize, were to give up when the pressure got too strong and adversity was everywhere? We damn sure wouldn’t be where we are right now.
Somehow, we must find a way to break out of the slave mentality. We got to destroy this idea that we should find more ways to get comfortable being a floor mat for America, or anywhere else where melanated people deal with adversity.
Have we forgotten who we are? Where we come from?
We talk a good game about how dominant our genetics are, how we built the pyramids, how we were the first to do this and that, but do our daily mindsets reflect this?
Rather than brag about what we use to do, let’s just do it again. Rather then screaming at the world trying to convince people ‘black lives matters’, let’s show the world what it means to be the original man and woman.
So the next time you feel like you can’t do something because you are black man or woman living in a society that is controlled by racist white supremacists remember the truth.
The truth is, you are a physical manifestation of the infinitely expanding creative force of the universe.
You are made of the black, transmutable, life-bringing, super conductive substance of the universe called melanin.
There’s nothing you should be afraid of, there’s nothing you can’t do because the universe is mental and the mind is all.
Make our ancestors proud and let’s show the world why we are so damn great.
