Every “conscious” black reader in the known universe should have these 27 books in the home, or on order, waiting to be delivered. There are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of books definitely worth your time written by black authors. However, sometimes it’s easier to narrow down the extensive list of options down to a less intimidating number, 27.
I read quite a bit and out all of the books I’ve read or have heard reviews on, these are the best. I either own these books already, have read them before, or have them in my book list on Amazon to order later.
Knowledge is power. If our children were exposed to these books in the household at a young age it could certainly have positive effects in their overall development.
Even as adults, we can become better equipped to prosper in a world opposed to our success and existence by fueling our creative, God-like nature, with truth and information. The more we know the more we can do.
So it’s my opinion that we should use the research and information from the past to help us solve problems we face today. Adjusting ancient techniques to suit our current needs. Keeping our “hidden” history in constant focus in order to avoid making previous mistakes.
Most, if not all of the authors put a considerable amount of effort into researching and writing these books. A lot of them took years to complete. Whether you completely agree with these authors or not, it is your duty to at least be knowledgeable of their perspective in order to further progress your own realizations.
