“Africa Looks A Lot Cleaner”: Africa Is One Of The Least Affected By The Coronavirus Outbreak

Although there is a very low number of Coronavirus cases in Africa, this has not stopped Africa from taking extra precautionary measures. One of these measures includes diligent health screenings for people entering Africa to avoid an outbreak on the continent.

“As the coronavirus spreads around the world at an ever increasing rate, just over a hundred cases have been confirmed in twelve African countries. A small number compared to Europe where Italy alone has currently more than 12,000 confirmed cases. But there are concerns that a wider outbreak there would overwhelm the already fragile healthcare system. Authorities fear that Africa is especially vulnerable to an undetected spread of the virus.
