It should be well known that the American police originated as slave patrols, groups of armed white men who patrolled throughs towns and cities looking for runaway slaves – capturing and/or murdering whomever they find.
Based on the evidence, the personal experiences of the people and the widespread outrage of police brutality in America it would seem the original purpose of the police force hasn’t changed much.
Protect white America’s “property” and status, while simulatenously capturing and/or murdering black people. Black lives have never mattered to the American police, that’s why they would rather quit than treat black people like human beings that deserve justice, freedom, and equality.

Most Of Police Force In Knightstown, Indiana Resign
(FOX 59) – “A majority of the police department in Knightstown has resigned, according to the Henry County Office of Emergency Management. Some members of the town council addressed the resignations during a packed meeting on Thursday night. Before the meeting, the town told FOX59 they wanted to help people understand the “misinformation that has been passed around.” Two former officers sat down with us beforehand to share why they decided to resign. “It seems like there is no support for the department, no town council backbone for us,” said Curtis Northern, a former Knightstown reserve officer.”
These widespread resignations are opening the door for new police, and perhaps a new system. Maybe if all of them quit we can rebuild a police system that actually protects black lives rather than murders them.
