In many of the articles found on this blog I stress the idea that “the universe is mental, and the mind is all”. In other words, the mind is the foundation of everything in existence.
When I say that, sometimes, people have a hard time digesting what that really means. This is why I find it important to continuously demonstrate the power of the mind. Understanding how each one of your thoughts affects the dynamics of your reality will empower you to think more critically and act more deliberately.

Kai Greene, a 45-year-old Professional Bodybuilder, is someone who understands and uses the powers of the mind on a regular basis. He is one the most legendary bodybuilders of this generation with many achievements and accolades in the bodybuilding arena. One of his iconic slogans is “Thoughts Becomes Things”. When you watch Kai’s interviews or training sessions you will quickly realize he approaches bodybuilding like a scientist experimenting with dangerous chemicals. Every action is planned and deliberate.
Kai often rants on about how his physique is certainly a result of hard work and dedication, but more importantly it is the result of his thinking. His thoughts inspired the training, the training inspired the body. Before he looked like the massive melanated hulk from Wakanda he would admire and study other bodybuilders, then visualize himself with a supreme physique.
You will become what you think about.
Will you be like Kai Greene and use your thoughts as a tool to visual, plan, and manifest your future? Or will you allow your mind to be a liability, becoming your own worst enemy and saboteur of all that reeks of success and progress in your life?
Who is Kai Greene?

According to Kai Greene’s online biography found on officialkaigreene.com:
Kai was born July 12th in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of six, he became a ward of the state of New York due to a problematic home environment. For the next ten years, he would be in transitional placement moving from several foster homes to institutional placements. It was within this environment that he found weight training as his refuge.
Deep inside of his soul, there resided many talents that few people were aware of, most importantly, his burning desire to be a visual artist. His two worlds would eventually meet and interconnect as his body became the subject of study. He became his own living model. He utilized his physique to gain a greater understanding of space and movement, creating works of art that became increasingly detailed and complex over time.
His exponential growth and development drew the attention of his 7th grade English teacher. Since his school conduct was far below the expectations tolerated by the facility that housed him, Kai was introduced to the idea of teen competition. Because of his enthusiasm and desire to measure his physique against competitors his own age, bodybuilding became the behavior modification tool that would prevent Kai from becoming a so-called “statistic”.
